Matt Council
PREC*
Although having had the luxury of calling North Vancouver home for his early and then teenage/adult years, Matt had the opportunity to spend several ‘tweener years in England and Ontario, building an outgoing and charismatic personality while remaining active in a variety of team sports. Living in Canyon Heights and graduating from Handsworth Secondary School, he completed his Bachelors of Business, Specialization in Finance at the University of Western Ontario before returning home to North Vancouver where he has resided since.
Matts’ strengths come from his passion for helping others attain their goals. Prior to joining the team at Rossetti Realty Ltd., Matt spent over four years on the North Shore with the Bank of Montreal, helping customers in home financing, establishing estate plans, and building individualized savings and investments strategies. He is an active participant in the community, coaching with North Shores’ premier league baseball team and volunteering across a variety of platforms, most fondly with B.C.’s Challengers Baseball program.
His upbeat character blends well with the North Shore lifestyle; when not at the office, you can often find him on a road bike or paddle board, followed by a cold beer at one of the local microbreweries. He also has a mild case of wanderlust and is an avid traveller – most recently returning from Portugal and Spain. He can't want to get back to Japan.
